Served as arbitrator or chair of the arbitral tribunal in over 200 arbitrations under the rules of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce; ICC; UNCITRAL and others. This includes serving as the presiding arbitrator in an arbitration concerning construction works for a major Polish airport with the amount in dispute totalling PLN 570 million (over USD 143 million) and serving as a party-appointed arbitrator in an ICC arbitration regarding purchase of shares in a Polish company by one of the world leaders from the logistics and delivery sector. His experience includes also counselling or co-counselling in over 150 arbitration proceedings, among others, co-counselling in an arbitration over validity of a call option regarding a heat and power plant and call option price mechanism with a value in dispute exceeding EUR 90 million, co-counselling in ICC arbitration proceeding concerning real estate investments with the amount in dispute of over EUR 100 million and co-counselling (as the lead counsel) in an international ad hoc arbitration under the UNCITRAL Rules seated in New Delhi, India with the amount in dispute exceeding USD 30 million. He also co-counselled in investment treaty (BIT) arbitration proceedings, among others, in proceedings brought by European conglomerate against the Polish government related to a multi-billion-euro telecommunications investment and multi-million euro investment arbitration dispute brought against the Polish government by a foreign investor. He was also advising in high-profile post-arbitration litigations.
