Practised law as a litigator and a commercial lawyer for 23 years from 1983 to 2006, mostly in Hong Kong and also in Vancouver and Mainland China, before taking up the executive position as Deputy Secretary General (2006-2007) and Secretary General (2008-2011) of the Law Society of Hong Kong.
