Practiced as a barrister/advocate in international commercial arbitration and appeared in very substantial numbers of arbitrations between 1980 and 2003. Has sat as arbitrator since 1992 and as mediator since 1995 in international commercial disputes and has been practicing in that field as a full time professional arbitrator and mediator since 2003. Conducted over 500 arbitrations to award stage as party appointed arbitrator, sole arbitrator or chairman including ICC, LCIA, CPR (New York), CIA, LMAA and ad hoc. Cases include high value and technical disputes; also, commercial/international mediator of high renown
