The failure by an athlete to appear to a scheduled doping control, despite the knowledge of the requirement to do so through the international media as well as the national media without any justification constitutes a violation of the doping rules. The “no show” and the general behavior lead to conclude that the athlete evaded sample collection and, thereby, committed a doping offence under the applicable Anti-Doping Rules.
