Pierre A. Karrer, Dr. iur. (Zurich), LL.M. (Yale), FCI Arb. Dr. Karrer is Hon. President, Swiss Arbitration Association. He is a member of the International Court of Arbitration of the ICC, a vice president of the Stockholm Arbitration Institute, and a former vice president of the London Court of International Arbitration. He also serves as an arbitrator on the international panel of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution of the American Arbitration Association, and others. Dr. Karrer has served as chairman, sole arbitrator, party-appointed arbitrator and counsel in well over 200 international commercial arbitrations around the world. He has published widely on private international law and international commercial arbitration. He chaired the Property Claims Commission.
