The availability of interim measures in international arbitration has expanded greatly in the past decade.  Our keynote speakers will discuss the origin, scope, and implications of this change in terms of the power of arbitrators to issue interim measures, the advent of emergency arbitrators, and the approach national courts take to the enforceability of arbitral awards granting interim measures.  Their observations will frame the issues that will be examined in greater detail throughout the course of the day.
