SAMPLE ORDER FOR LIMITING WRITTEN PLEADINGS

1. The Claimant shall submit its [Statement of Claim]1 on or before [date].

2. The Respondent shall submit its [Statement of Defence] [and any Counterclaim] on or before [date].

3. The Claimant shall submits its [Statement of Reply] [and Defence to Counterclaim] on or before [date]

4. [The Respondent shall submit its [Statement of Reply to the Defence to Counterclaim] on or before [date]].

5. Each written pleading should not exceed 25 pages in length without the permission of the Arbitral Tribunal, save that Statements of Reply [whether to the Defence or to the Defence to Counterclaim] should not exceed 10 pages. Each pleading should have reasonable line spacing, margin and font size. If the Arbitral Tribunal gives permission to exceed 25 pages [or 10 pages as the case may be] a brief summary should be given of the entire pleading.
