This case concerns a claim brought by Corn Products International, Inc. (“CPI”), a corporation incorporated in Delaware and thus a United States company for the purposes of the North American Free Trade Agreement (“the NAFTA”), against the United Mexican States (“Mexico”). The claim is for alleged violations of Chapter XI of the NAFTA and is brought pursuant to Article 2 of the Arbitration (Additional Facility) Rules of the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (“ICSID”).
