When deciding to take part in the proceedings before CAS by filing an answer, asking the Panel to reject the appeal and to confirm the decision of one of its bodies in a matter that is, at least to some extent, of a disciplinary nature, FIFA acts as a party intervening in the case and must therefore be considered to have the standing to be sued.
