This article describes a new book, Negotiation Essentials for Lawyers, in which we have finally tackled a problem we cheerfully admit we did not address in two previous books: brevity.

In these pages, in three articles between November 2018 and January of this year, we introduced our Negotiator’s Desk Reference; similarly in Alternatives in 2006, we described our original book in our Canon of Negotiation series, The Negotiator’s Fieldbook.
