Appeal from a judgment entered in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Marrero, J.), applying the doctrine of forum non conveniens to dismiss a petition seeking confirmation of an arbitral award under the provisions of the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, the court having rejected petitioner's contentions that application of the doctrine is precluded by the terms of the Convention and that the elements of the doctrine have not been established.

Affirmed.
