Most international arbitration rules provide that an arbitrator and the arbitral institution shall not be liable for any act or omission in connection with any arbitration conducted under the rules.

For example, under Rule 22 of the 2014 CPR Institute Administered Arbitration of International Disputes, “[n]either CPR nor any arbitrator shall be liable to any party for any act or omission in connection with any arbitration conducted under these Rules.” (Available at http://ow.ly/QDdMD.)
