On 21 February 2008, the Argentine Republic (“Argentina”) filed with the Secretary-General of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (“ICSID”) an application in writing (the “Application for Annulment”) requesting the annulment of the Award of 22 May 2007 (the “Award”), rendered by the tribunal (the “Tribunal”) in the arbitration proceeding between Enron Corporation and Ponderosa Assets, L.P. (the “Claimants”) and Argentina.
