The Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Government of the Republic of Botswana (hereinafter referred to as the "Contracting Parties");

Desiring to create favorable conditions for a greater flow of investments made by investors of either Contracting Party in the territory of the other Contracting Party; and

Recognizing that the promotion and reciprocal protection of such investments will stimulate the development of business initiatives and will increase prosperity in the territories of both Contracting Parties; 

Have agreed as follows:
