I. OVERVIEW
The issue before a Colorado court of appeals in Coors Brewing
Company v. Federico Cabo and Corporación Calfik, S.A. de C.V. was
whether “manifest disregard of the law” was an acceptable means for
judicial review under Colorado law. Coors Brewing Company (Coors)
purchased an equity interest in Cerveceria Mexciana, a Mexican
brewery. The details of the transaction were drafted into a Master
