The sole basis to sanction the use of marijuana at the Olympic Games is Chapter II, article III, paragraph B of the IOC Medical Code, which treats the use of marijuana as doping only if there is an agreement between the IOC and the relevant international federation to that effect. Absence of any such agreement in this case.
