Any person at risk of withdrawal of accreditation should be notified in advance of the case against him and given the opportunity to dispute it, in accordance with the elementary rules of natural justice and due process. This is because of the important rights and privileges to which accreditation gives rise and because of the particular consequences of a summary withdrawal, which entails deprivation of access to sleeping quarters and personal goods.
