Procedural Timetable and Rules of Procedure established in the ARA Libertad Arbitration

(Argentina v Ghana) following a First Procedural Meeting in The Hague The Tribunal constituted in the ARA Libertad Arbitration between the Argentine Republic and the Republic of Ghana pursuant to Article 287 and Article 1 of Annex VII to the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea has issued a first Procedural Order which, inter alia, establishes the Procedural Timetable and adopts the Rules of Procedure that shall apply in this arbitration. This followed a First Procedural Meeting held by the Tribunal with the Parties at the Peace Palace in The Hague on 21 May 2013. The languages of the arbitration are English and Spanish.
