Beginning in Paris in l961, the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) has held six international congresses approximately every three years. The latest, the Sixth International Arbitration Congress, was held in Mexico City from March 13 to 16, 1978. At this conference, participants from 42 countries discussed the theme.
