On April 12, 2007, the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (“ICSID” or the “Centre”) received a request for arbitration (the “Request”) dated March 19, 2007, from Toto Costruzioni Generali S.p.A. (“Toto”) against the Republic of Lebanon (“Lebanon”). Toto is a company incorporated under the laws of Italy, registered at the commercial register of the Chamber of Commerce of Chieti.
