At a time when the use of alternative dispute resolution techniques by employers is growing swiftly, there remains little empirical data to document current practices in the workplace. The following new survey found that ADR is attractive to the majority of organizations surveyed and to 90% of individual respondents. Most organizations are considering implementing peer review or mediation and 78% of respondents indicated they were willing to allow an outside arbitrator to resolve with finality their company's employment law disputes.
