Issues involved in construction disputes against architects and why mediation is the preferred method of resolving them.

Architects do like mediation. Well maybe more correctly stated, architects like the idea of mediation. No, that’s not it. Architects like the opportunity mediation offers to resolve disputes and avoid the expenses that would be incurred in the next step of the dispute resolution process in the event mediation fails. Given reasonably amenable parties, mediation is fast, inexpensive, confidential and customizable while being capable of disposition of all or specific parts of a dispute with a high success rate.
