Paul Mitchard QC
Mr. Mitchard is Global Co-Head of Skadden's International Litigation and Arbitration Group, and Heads the Asia-Pacific and European groups. He is a Queen's Counsel in England & Wales, and is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong and solicitor-advocate in the British Virgin Islands. He is also a practising arbitrator and an accredited CEDR mediator with more than 30 years’ experience in the field of international arbitration. Paul has handled numerous international commercial disputes for multinational companies and major institutions including arbitrations under the rules of the HKIAC, ICC, LCIA, AAA, the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and other leading arbitration institutions as well as ad hoc and UNCITRAL arbitrations. He has also handled treaty claims under the auspices of ICSID. Having worked in Hong Kong in the 1980’s, he returned in 2009 to lead Skadden’s Asia-Pacific disputes practice there.

Calvin Chan
Mr. Chan is an Associate of Skadden’s international litigation and arbitration group covering the Asia-Pacific region, and is based in Singapore. He has previously practiced with Skadden’s international litigation and arbitration group in New York, London and Hong Kong. He is a member of the New York state and federal bars, as well as an English solicitor and (non-practicing) advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. Mr. Chan has been involved in a broad range of cross-border arbitration disputes, both commercial and investor-state, across a broad array of industry sectors, and has handled arbitrations under many arbitration rules including the AAA/ICDR, ICC, LCIA, HKIAC, UNCITRAL and ICSID.
