PETITION FOR A WRIT OF CERTIORARI

Petitioner BG Group Plc respectfully petitions for a writ of certiorari to review the judgment of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit in this case.

The opinion of the court of appeals vacating the final arbitral award (Pet. App. 1a) is reported at 665 F.3d 1363. The opinions of the district court recognizing and enforcing the award (Pet. App. 21a) and refusing to vacate the award (Pet. App. 58a) are reported at 764 F. Supp. 2d 21 and 715 F. Supp. 2d 108. The arbitral award (Pet. App. 92a) is not reported.

JURISDICTION

The judgment of the court of appeals was entered on January 17, 2012. A timely petition for panel rehearing or rehearing en banc was denied on March 15, 2012. See Pet. App. 307a. The Chief Justice subsequently extended the time to fi le this petition to and including July 27, 2012. No. 11A1134. This Court has jurisdiction under 28 U.S.C.§ 1254(1).
